I know McKenzie's mom from church, so when McKenzie and Magnum got engaged, I was excited to photograph them. These two have the best connection—playful, lots of joking and teasing, completely comfortable with each other.
We shot at Superstition Mountain Museum in October, and the location was perfect for them. Western vibes, rustic barn, old trucks, boots—all of it fit their style exactly.

Superstition Mountain Museum is one of my favorite spots for couples who want something different from the typical Arizona desert landscape. The barn, the vintage trucks, the rustic details—it's got character and tells a story. Perfect for an engagement session that's more western romance than polished perfection. October weather in Arizona is ideal for outdoor sessions. Not too hot, beautiful light, and the whole vibe just works. We explored the museum grounds, and McKenzie and Magnum made my job easy by just being themselves.
