Raeanne and Kyle came to me through a former client recommendation, and I'm so glad they did. These two are clearly excited to get married, and that energy showed up in every photo.
We met at the Riparian Preserve in Gilbert for a March sunset session. The light was perfect, the weather was ideal, and Raeanne and Kyle brought all the fun.

Raeanne is definitely the more outgoing one—she's got energy and personality for days. Kyle's a bit more reserved, but watching them together, you can tell they balance each other out perfectly. They clearly have fun together, and that's what makes engagement photos actually worth taking. The college rivalry added a fun layer to the session. Raeanne showed up in her UofA shirt, Kyle in his ASU gear. In Arizona, you know what that means. But hey, opposites attract, right?
Riparian Preserve is one of my favorite Gilbert engagement locations. The water, the trees, the trails—it gives you variety without feeling overly desert-y. Perfect for couples who want something green and natural but still distinctly Arizona. We walked, they laughed, and I'm already looking forward to photographing their wedding this October. By then, they'll be totally comfortable in front of my camera, which makes everything better on the actual wedding day.
